A 5-day all-inclusive beachfront experience where Jiu-Jitsu becomes a mirror for self-inquiry, awareness, and embodied growth.
APRIL 16-20, 2026
PUERTO PEÑASCO, MÉXICO | From $1,500
Experience Jiu-Jitsu in a completely different way on the beach in Puerto Peñasco.
This is a self-inquiry retreat that uses Jiu-Jitsu as a tool for awareness, pattern recognition, and embodied learning. Rather than focusing on performance or technique, we slow the practice down and use movement, problem-solving, and live feedback to explore how you relate to control, learning, fear, effort, and responsibility.
Jiu-Jitsu becomes the mirror.
What shows up on the mat reveals how you move through life.
When something within us is asking to be understood, it often shows up as:
Jiu-Jitsu is Life Retreat provides the space to slow down, see what is actually shaping your choices, and practice moving forward with clarity and intention.
Using Jiu-Jitsu as a living practice, you learn how awareness, choice, and relationship shape every outcome.
This immersive experience offers the container and guidance to:
Beginner-friendly and experienced-practitioner sessions where Jiu-Jitsu is slowed down and used as a tool for awareness, pattern recognition, and embodied learning rather than performance.
Gentle, functional movement sessions to wake up the body, increase awareness, and support integration between training sessions.
Simple, accessible meditation practices focused on awareness, attention, and choice rather than forcing calm or stillness.
Evening or recovery-based sound experiences designed to support rest, reflection, and nervous system settling.
Access to recovery tools including red light therapy, compression boots, massage guns, and guided recovery practices to support physical and mental integration.
Structured and unstructured time for personal reflection, journaling, and quiet processing of insights that arise on and off the mat.
Periods of optional silence to deepen awareness, reduce noise, and allow insight to surface without distraction.
Partner and group exercises rooted in trust, communication, and shared problem-solving, designed to build connection without forced vulnerability.
Time in the ocean, on the beach, and outdoors to support regulation, play, and connection to the environment.
Shared meals, conversations, and unstructured social time that allow relationships to form naturally through shared experience.
Lighthearted moments, laughter, and spontaneous fun woven throughout the retreat to balance the depth of the work.
Space to rest, nap, walk, sit by the water, or simply be, allowing the experience to unfold at a pace that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.

What Our Customers Are Saying
I have known Sarah for several years and have had the pleasure of calling her my coach. My experience training Jiu-Jitsu under her guidance and support was nothing short of amazing. Sarah’s level of commitment, passion, and dedication to the growth of each individual student is outstanding. She is more than a coach, she is a mentor and a role model, and holds a wealth of experience and knowledge about the sport. But Sarah takes it a step further, training with her builds character and resilience and she is keen on demonstrating how the skills learned here go beyond the sport itself and have practical use in the real world.
Working with Bri has been one of the biggest catalysts for my personal growth. Through ceremonies, one-on-one work, and virtual coaching, every experience has helped me come home to myself in a deeper, more authentic way. She’s helped me develop clarity around who I am, learn to be with all parts of myself, and meet my inner experience with more compassion, presence, and love. My awareness of myself and others has expanded in ways I didn’t know were possible.
This work has also deeply transformed my relationship with my partner, Yusuf. Bri’s questions, prompts, and guidance land exactly where they need to, and her ability to truly see us is remarkable. What stands out most is how safe I feel with her. I trust her completely. She’s taught me that gentle is the way and that moving forward with fear is possible when you’re supported. Bri is intuitive, grounded, and a clear channel. I’m endlessly grateful for her impact on my life.

We can’t wait to share the beauty, ease, and magic of Puerto Peñasco with you.
